If you ask Black Hook how he met Heavy Iron, he would've said something like a bar fight or a team-up after a heist gone wrong.
And if you asked Heavy Iron about it, he would huff, mumble something about attempted murder, and leave immediately after.
But if you ask them to speak honestly, only Black Hook would say that there's nothing more to it as Heavy Iron will immediately tell you off.
Because the first time Heavy Iron and Black Hook met one another wasn't at some heist, dirty bar, or bloody battle.
It was an empty wasteland, a crashed escape pod, and a bloodied bot with strange eyes.
(or, Heavy Iron and Black Hook meeting each other for the first time ever in a universe where Heavy Iron was doomed to fight a war he never had a choice to avoid, and Black Hook just wants to survive)

He’s nowhere as excited as his partner in crime – in fact, his processor is thinking of the various ways this could go wrong, and the various ways he can kill Black Hook and then himself after all of this is said and done. Heavy Iron desperately wishes he was back at the landfill, back when he was left all alone in comfortable solitude, back when he was solely focused on his own self-preservation and not the whirlwind of melancholic emotions threatening his rationale.
