Wyll doesn't hold it against her; Lae'zel had done a fantastic job of riling Shadowheart up, and she was apologetic enough the morning after. Soulmates are little more than parasites. The only thing they share is pain through their bond. By all reason and common sense, Astarion should want his soulmate to die to spare himself that extra chunk of suffering, especially as Cazador grows only more possessive over Astarion having a bond with anyone else at all.
All Astarion can think though is this is one thing Cazador hasn't been able to take from him.

Summary
It was hard to mourn a man who was hardly ever around, yet Robert still did. It’s even harder to mourn a man who was still alive, but Robert had never been one to fall into the given standards set up for him.
He tilts his head, and lets himself get one last look at the man before him. Almost predictably, Robert finds no remorse in those eyes. No guilt, nothing. It’s enough to crush that hurt down, to let the familiar anger that kept him going all those years guide his finger back, even as traitorous tears sting the corners of his eyes.

Or, Robert gets his chance to fulfill a promise, and by god will he take it if it’s the last thing he does.

It started out as one, Penguin was pretty sure. When they first called him the crew's dad, it was a dig at Law's adamant denials of the man being his father.
But then they all started calling him that to the point where his bounty he got at a failed supply run had him put down as “Wanted: Dad" (a copy of which hung in at least three different rooms on the sub), and that prompted them to get him a “best dad" mug, and they had all that rules for keeping him safe written down-
