He’s beaming, showing off teeth white enough to match Vex’s jacket, and nearly dancing as he and Vex circle the motorcycle together. “And we can leave this fucker in the dust!” He tosses his head to indicate Percy in jest and the blown-out curls of his hair bounce around his shoulders in emphasis.
Taryon makes himself a motorcycle, to match Vex. And Percy definitely could have done the same if he'd wanted to.

“Heard,” says Spike. First thing he’s said since they left the basement, and, in using his voice, he rediscovers a little trace of the Slayer’s blood, caught at his gum line behind his upper teeth. Hardly even a full drop but just the hint of it is about enough to make his stomach growl.
Buffy isn't letting Spike out of her sight, not after tonight.

Nathaniel can fly really well, and he’s got the prodigy tech genius gimmick down, but his targeting is shaky and he isn’t natural yet in the suit, startling and freezing and thinking through his next move when it always seems so natural for Iron Man.
“I do,” Teddy agrees. “But that’s not a fair comparison. I had a head start on all of you. I’ve always been able to do this.”
