Max flexed as hard as he possibly could against the ropes to no avail; he then mustered all of his strength to twist his body, only to find it tied completely stuck to the stupid pole paired with the stupidest flag flying high up above. Max groaned a sigh, blowing his sweaty fringe from his eyesight.

But nothing could ever be as simple as routine in the Amazing Digital Circus, could it? No, of course the jester had to butt in and ask if he was 'fine' and poke and prod and WHINE until he broke. ...Wait, what are they thinking? Have they actually considered this, even for a moment? No, they can't. It's bad enough that they consider the group their friends, they can't do the same with this again. The SOUL is just something useful, something that will help them achieve their goals. They can't consider it, even for a second, to be anything more than that.
They can't consider the SOUL as someone friendly.

Upon his return to Castle Town after failing to conquer TV World, Rouxls receives a request from Ralsei: serve as tour guide for the new recruits in town and show them to their new home. Surely, nothing will go wrong. Surely, the recruits aren't his exes.
After playing the new chapters, my friend and I yearned for more content about Rouxls and the weather couple. They requested a story about them with the "too many beds" reverse trope following chapter three, and I took that request a little too seriously. This is that story. Spoilers through chapter three of Deltarune.
