Which is why, when Hob Gadling spies his friend sitting on a bench not far from The New Inn on a Monday, surrounded by men clearly set on intimidating him, well, there is only one thing he can do. Come to the defense of his friend, once more, of course.
In the process, Hob discovers he may not have been alone in wishing for them to be far more than simply friends.

Summary
Jon thought that the Circus had him for about two and a half weeks before Gerry found him. Two and a half weeks tied to that chair at the mercy of Nikola, unable to escape, unable to stop her from treating him like another doll in her collection. In a way she got what she wanted—Jon had never felt more like a stranger in his own skin.
After two and a half weeks Gerry found him, took him home, peeled him an orange, and reminded him what gentleness is. The peel of an orange beneath fingernails speaks a thousand words. Healing won’t come easy, but it will come, and Gerry will be right there beside him.
[This fic is rated M for depictions of sexual assault. The assault is Nikola moisturizing Jon. NO explicit content/sex is in this fic. Please read my author’s note for more details of the CWs!!]

Three days, and he still ached, still burned with rage, still felt those horrible hands on his body.

Hitoshi doesn't know what to think when he steps into the gym and finds Aizawa standing next to one big backpack.
It certainly doesn't look like their regular training and that immediately puts Hitoshi on edge.
"What are we doing?" Hitoshi carefully asks and Aizawa gives him his most feral grin, and Hitoshi breaks out into a cold sweat.
This cannot be good.
"You are doing something," he gives back and kicks the backpack. "Remember that essay I made you write about what you would need if you were ever dropped in the woods for a few days?"
"Oh gods," Hitoshi groans out because that's his nightmare actually and Aizawa's grin only gets wider.

Hitoshi knows that he doesn't even have to try and get up from his chair when half of his class leaves, giggling like crazy.
So instead of getting up as well and thoroughly embarrassing himself, he busies himself with slowly unpacking and repacking his bag, as if there was something wrong with it before and by the time he's done, everyone is long gone, too impatient to get to the dorms to wait for him.
Hitoshi lets out a big sigh and then, despite knowing better, tries to get up.
Just like he expected, his pants are fused to the chair and he knows from experience that there's no way of separating himself from the chair without ripping his pants. Which he's not keen on doing, even though he does have a jacket that could help shield him on his short walk of shame to the dorms but it would mean another ripped pair of pants.
