Kakashi sighed for the thirty-sixth time in less than two minutes, distraught. Gai was doing finger push-ups next to him as he despaired about his life.
Nothing really new...
Except that they were barely five years old.
"Damn Uzumaki seals," he grumbled for the twenty-third time. "And damned sensei."
'Kushina-san was always very creative and Minato-sama very curious, the spring of youth shines especially brightly on them!'
"You're not helping me at all, Gai," Kakashi groaned before dropping onto his back. "And stop moving, I'm tired just looking at you."
"I can't afford to fall behind my rival!"
If he kept his sanity intact, Kakashi knew he would suffocate Gai in his sleep with that horrible green suit.

Summary
Loki was many things, but one of his little-known habits was his curiosity, or rather the fact that he acted on it without necessarily thinking about the consequences. Well, it was more that he did not care, to be honest. Loki is a scientist at heart, he likes to test things, so what could be better for a magical being like him than to have the Tesseract? Of course, he was going to experiment with it, what was Thor thinking?
Oh, yes... Thor did not know. It did not matter though. It was a detail.
Except when said detail led him to a Thor with TWO natural eyes, an adoptive father conveniently falling into a magical coma to let him deal with the shitty foreign policy – with an impending war, had he forgotten? – and a still-living mother who had always been too perceptive for her own good. Bloody witches.
What's more?
Oh, yeah, a biological father he apparently had not killed with his own hands yet.

Summary
If Thanos was going to give Loki an Infinity Stone, he needed some form of insurance that Loki would not abandon the plan to invade Earth for the Tesseract at the first opportunity. He turned the prince over to his loyal servant to provide "incentive." A little time alone together ensured that Loki would obey and would not fail in his mission. Not if he wanted to avoid a slow and cruel death.

Summary
With her hand curled over Oþin's gouged-out eye, the dead seeress speaks of Ragnarokkr: the destruction of Asgard. Inevitably, Loki and his family are at the heart of it.
Driven by fear, Oþin takes drastic measures. Hel is banished to her realm, Sleipnir is hidden, Jormungandr put to sleep, and Fenrir is chained. Of the sons of Sigyn, only Vali survives. Loki himself is tied with his own son's entrails underneath stalactites of dripping poision.
Sometime later, the children and Sigyn have vanished. In their place stands Loki, and despite the torture, only speaks to mislead his father from his family. After a year, Frigg intercedes on behalf of Loki, but not without cost.
In saving her son, she has started the beginning of the end.
