Bruce is halfway through a paragraph on the proper handling of Wayne Tech property when Barry’s full blown fit of laughter peals through the room. The Hall echoes with it, and it’s such a happy sound that Bruce is not quite sure how he’s supposed to react. So instead he looks up to discover what the disturbance is about.
Clark is eating one of those rainbow-colored sour strips while leaning on the counter, and Bruce has to hold in an eye roll at how he seems to be enjoying it. Sometimes it strikes him as immensely unfair that Clark can enjoy all these sugary foods without his body suffering for it.
