Usually they’d meet up by the junkyard, go into the bus, and… but after last time they nearly got caught by some dweebs from the middle school out way past their curfew, Billie got nearly scared to death and now they meet by the treeline by the quarry, because no one ever comes here.
No they all go to Lovers Lake, but Billie refuses to go anywhere that might suggest this is more than physical.
Sure there’s Stevie’s giant house which is always empty, but Billie wont go there, and ignores all questions as to why. But admittedly, being in the back of the camaro is all too thrilling for Stevie, so she doesn’t really complain about that. -

Steve was drunk at a party when he off-handedly made a comment about how hot Billy is, shirtless in the summer night, how every girl would fight for his attention, how some guys might too.
Billy was barely even tipsy as he grinned at that remark, asking, “Are you one of those guys?”
And then Steve nodded, and it was clear in the way Billy leered that that changed something right there. A simple drunken comment would change their dynamic forever, and while Steve had almost been convinced it was a dream, the way Billy had winked the day after was proof enough.
But Billy had been quick to make it clear that they weren’t gonna start dating, that he wasn’t gonna woo Steve to sleep with him. They were either gonna do it or not, nothing more to it.

It was a special kind of agony, getting tutored by Billy. Watching his hands as he pointed things out or wrote out equations. Being plastered together, knee to thigh, Billy’s cologne and hairspray overwhelming in the best way. Having to look him in the eye, up close, with his lashes and freckles and face just… there. And Steve was just supposed to sit there and not get a stiffy. Yeah fucking right. Billy just fucking looked in his eyes and Steve got hard.
