Summary
Peter Parker has been dealt with a tough life. He grows up with a caring Uncle Ben and Aunt May after his parent’s deaths from a plane crash. His life for once is pretty good. That is till a spider bite and the death of Uncle Ben which leads to Aunt May’s spiraling. Now she can barely be seen as she falls into a neglectful state. Leaving Peter alone to care for her children Kensey, June and Matthew (referred to as Matty.) With everything thrown against him he copes with it in… unhealthy ways. Now having to juggle spiderman, school and his new found role of basically a parent his life starts to crumble. That is until big shot Tony Stark offers him an internship. What at first seems to be just another commitment quickly turns into a safe space.

I show up at around 4am. At home I find the entire gang pacing around the room. Darry is staring down at the ground so hard I bet he’s threatening it. Soda is figiting so much he looks he’s having some kind of seizure. And in the center…. In the center is a social worker. Nononono. I messed up. I messed up BAD. “Um, hey.” Everyone just stares at him. Well expect for Dally and Steve who are glaring. Before any of them can respond the social worker cuts in.
“Ponyboy Curtis? I’m going to need you to come with me.”

AU where instead of the whole Soc trying to kill Ponyboy, Johnny kills Bob thing. They come home late where they find a social worker who cane for a surprise meeting. With him “gone” the social worker drags Ponyboy into the system. -

I woke up feeling hot all over and my stomach flipping in circles. I was sick. Clear as day. Rushing to the bathroom to get a look in the mirror a wave of dizziness hits me. Nonono. Out of all days. I had a track meet later and the team was counting on me. Not to mention how worked up Darry and Soda would get. Them being mothering hens would skip work and we can’t afford that. I need to get to school. The mirror tells me I’m pale but I think I could get away with saying I haven’t been sleeping or some other lame excuse. I mean nightmares do keep me up anyway they would buy it. I take a nice hot shower and grease my hair. Just act normal.

Summary
The picture changed again, and Pepper gasped sharply.
Tony Stark lay flat on his back.
The billionaire subsequently breathed in and blinked awake in a half startled grunt. Pepper and Happy watched in frozen shock as Tony watched the ceiling a moment before turning his head to the side. Then his head went back again, and he closed his eyes with a groan. The camera trailed over to the source of Tony’s displeasure. There at his side, still unconscious, was Captain Steve Rogers.
Or rather:
Several months after Civil War, a new threat presents itself, in which Tony, Steve, Peter, Sam, Wanda, Clint, Natasha, Bruce and Bucky are captured and thrown together on an Island that had been manufactured by Hydra. Trapped, The Avengers have no other choice but to rely on both their wits and one another as they brave the elements, face off against new foes eager to make a name for themselves, and of course, try and make their way home alive.
(So far, the only thing they can agree on is keeping spider kid from dying, which is a pretty low bar, but it’s a start.)
Oh, and they have no idea that their every move is being filmed and broadcasted live on national television.

Summary
AU. Nineteen year old Peter Parker has worked for SHIELD ever since he had a run-in with Nick Fury over alien technology a couple of years ago.
When Tony Stark and Happy Hogan are injured in an attack that uses unfamiliar alien tech, Peter is assigned by Fury as their bodyguard and informant. He has one rule he tells himself on missions. Or, well, one rule with three sub-sections: get in and out, stay alert, and do not get attached. (That last sub-section holds more weight than the others — by about forty percent, give or take.)
Morgan Stark — and, apparently, the rest of the Avengers, along with people he's tried to leave behind — are making the last part of that rule very difficult for him. Oh, and it turns out that Tony Stark isn't as big of an asshole as everyone makes him out to be. Who knew?
