Summary
The absolute last place Langris Vaude wants to be is in the crowd of rowdy patrons at the most popular restaurant and bar in the Clover Kingdom, particularly since said establishment is owned and operated by two of his brother's former squad mates. His plans to get the bottle of wine he needs and leave quickly, however, are thwarted by a certain drunk witch who delights in teasing him--much to Langris' chagrin. But when Langris gets a little too tipsy...er...honest and Vanessa gets a little too intuitive, he realizes they might actually have more in common than he would've ever imagined.
Langris and Vanessa's Friendship (because I think they might/could actually get along one day). Also, a little bit of Charmy & Vanessa's Friendship (and Business-Partnership--I'd love to see them open a restaurant and bar together one day!), Vanessa & Finral's Friendship, and Langris & Finral's Brotherly Relationship (especially in later chapters). Post-Canon/Future. Rating for some language.

Summary
Langris Vaude is not a kind person. What brought upon this upbringing? His parents who spoiled him rotten and held him to such high standards? His brother who left the mantle of Vaude Heir to him when he was merely ten? Or maybe it was the fact he was given so many responsibilities so young? Maybe it was all three which made him grow spiteful and unsympathetic towards other’s weaknesses.
Perhaps it was all because he was raised to not show any such weakness himself.
TLDR;Langris with the character depth he deserves instead of just leaving him as some entitled jackass he is depicted as in the manga and show.

Zuko took another swig from the bottle he held in his hand, as The Dragon's Claw plowed into the village. If he was going to face the Avatar he'd need the liquid courage, granted one might think that if that description of the liquor that was swaying his vision was to be true, then Zuko should feel like the bravest man in the Fire Navy. Instead, he felt nothing. Everything was numbed away by the alcohol that blurred the lines between feeling too much and feeling nothing at all. Being completely empty inside.
He squinted at the light that flooded the walkway that led into the village from his ship and he took a step towards his destiny, which ended up looking more like tripping and throwing up on one of his own men.
He really did have the worst luck.
