As he sat there, in that accursed office chair, a smile crept it’s way to his withered face. Finally. It was over. He leaned back hard enough to cause the chair to roll backwards and let his head slump back. He closed the eyes which were no longer his, and as the flames slowly claimed him, he felt at peace for perhaps the first time in his life.

Michael Afton finally released all the souls that were remaining. This means he finally gets to rest too, right? Not exactly.
Aka the fic where Michael Afton is thrown in the past to redeem his sins, but he is thrown back completely separate from the "Michael Afton" of that time. This may not be all that bad, though. After all, what better way to redeem his past sins than stopping those events altogether? Michael is determined to make sure William Afton never becomes the murderer he is destined to be, one way or another. However, nothing is ever that easy, especially for a man like him. There is a certain price he will have to pay for altering the course of reality.
