Ghost supposes that many would probably say that they get better. They do get better, don’t they? Yes, they do. Things change, and they are better. The Infection is gone, and Hollow is safe, and Hornet is happy, and so Ghost is fine. Perhaps they are selfish, and they mourn a dying world that they can never return to, and they are more alone than ever before, but they’ll get over it.
…And it’s not as if anyone will notice if they don’t.
Ghost goes back in time, kills the Radiance, and sets everything right. They tell no one, and do it on their own. It is only after their family is happy, and the kingdom is safe, and the Abyss is soothed to sleep, that they realize just how lonely it is as the last remaining piece of a future never to be.

Subaru Natsuki was at his most broken and desperate after being rejected by almost all of the royal candidates when he merely begged for their help. And thus, he seems to be set on suffering a terrible fate yet again. Not just himself, but those around him.
As he sat despondently and alone in a dark, empty alleyway with fear and hatred consuming him, the sounds of metal footsteps approached from behind and an imposing shadow loomed overhead.
"Are you the one called...Subaru Natsuki?" Asked a raspy, echoey, and almost monstrous voice.
Turning around, startled by the voice that sounded so unnatural, Subaru could not help but stare in shock at the person who stood before him.
When he was transported to this world, he was NOT expecting to get help from...General Grievous from Star Wars.

When the dust settled, Subaru found himself alone for the first time in over 100 years. His fellow roommates of pain gone, Finally resting after such an agonizing, miserable life. He can't help but feel jealous. But someone had had not just defeat AM and the other super computers, but make sure that the true survivors on the moon will have a home. The only way was make sure this world transformed by machine remains stable is to take the reins. What he didn't expect, was the lingering 0's and 1's to leave such a biting mark on him. AM is dead, alongside his sub-conscious, but the hatred engrained into each circuit board persists. What's a little more hatred for Subaru to handle, when he can make the world bend to his will now. To bad he will have to wait 30 years alone before he finally put himself to rest. If only it were that simple, and a certain envious witch threw her hand(s) into the ring.
