Summary
It’s stupid; Luffy’s suggestion. Spar with Zoro if you have time. It’s a lot of fun and you can learn something from each other! You could use the stress relief and I’m sure he won’t go easy on you. The idea of Zoro sparring him for the hell of it interests Law less than most of the activities on the ship. Brushing Bepo’s back, for example.

When you hit puberty, you will have soulmate marks appear. Blue for people out there meant to be your family, red for your romantic soulmate. It is a great joy and wonder to have a mark.
Unless of course you are family with Doflamingo and know he will use this information against you.
Law can't do much, but he can keep his soulmate safe, and spends years of his life tattooing over his soulmark that keeps reappearing. Wondering if he will ever actually meet them, and almost hoping he doesn't, because that will keep them safe.

A fledgling one." He watches as Luffy's eyes widen in the silence that stretches between them, before laying out the conclusion he'd regretfully come to.
"I don't think this is going to stop. For any of us."
"You fix people, though," Luffy says, and there should be nothing in this world that makes that man's voice shake like that. Maybe that's the problem; they've definitely stepped outside the bounds of the world they know.
"I don't think I can fix this."
What happens when the world believes in you so much, that you start becoming something more?
What if it's something you never wanted to be?

Not only will they have help in taking down an emperor, which is bound to be exciting, but this is Zoro's chance to learn a little more about Law and get closer...only if they didn't have a time limit and Law didn't make it so goddamn hard.

Trafalgar D. Water Law is a busy surgeon who doesn't have time to date. This is a problem for all the work functions that seem to go along with being a surgeon (he has no idea why). It is recommend he find at least someone to bring to these. There were jokes from friends about getting a sugar baby.
It is a good idea. And he finds one.
But it might be difficult to explain Roronoa Zoro to his colleagues.
At least work parties will be a lot less boring now.
