He's someone who is fiercely independent. trusting only himself to do the things he needs to do, pushes himself to the limit and so it follows that all his success is only of his own doing. Eita is always, always so proud of him, even if he does have to remind Kenjirou to slow down, to take care of himself.
But somehow, somehow, when they’re alone, Kenjirou kneels. Pillows his head on Eita’s knee and puts all that is him into Eita’s hands. Lets Eita pull sounds from his mouth that crystallises into pearls, lets Eita string them into a gorgeous necklace only he can wear.
When they’re like this, Kenjirou gives everything over to him.
