Megumi dies; seeing Tsumiki and then Gojo die is too much for him to handle. Toji leads him back to life. No blood of his dies like this. revelations occur, good, bad and complicated.

It was a routine mission that really shouldn't have developed into a situation. So of course it developed into a situation. But to be fair, how was Kyojuro ever supposed to predict a Blood Demon Art that could transform him into a cat? But it's fine, all he has to do is get to Shinobu and surely she can fix it.
He did not plan on running into Akaza, or to find out that Akaza has a soft spot for cats. He definitely did not plan on Akaza deciding to keep him, and tell him all about the wonderful slayer he adores.
Honestly, becoming a cat has become the least of his concerns.

Laios put the empty bottle in his lap and squinted inside, just to be sure that there was nothing left. He didn't feel drunk at all, at least not in any way that was immediately noticeable. He felt tired, but that probably wasn't due to the alcohol. He had a very eventful birthday, and it lasted two whole days. The first real birthday party in his life. The trip to the zoo with Kabru. Holm's visit. All of those things were really nice but, because they happened one after another in such a short time, ended up being a fair bit overwhelming. A part of him was glad that it was coming to an end. He quietly leaned on Kabru and heaved a sigh.
