As he watches Angel stand almost knee deep in the water, bathed in sunlight and happy, Aki realizes two things.
One is that he is hopelessly in love with him.
And two-
“I never thanked you,” Aki winces at the way his voice cracks, and Angel looks up at him from where he’s crouched to watch the small fish swim by. He’s visibly confused, tilting his head enough that the tips of his hair dip into the water. “For saving me that day on the beach.”

Summary
Iris and Lillium lose track of Lou after entering the alternate world of the Escape Plan book, leaving them stuck in this universe and lodging in the townhouse of their alternate selves. Following the interaction Lillium has with this world's Iris ("It's just… You haven't tried to kiss me all day." "Sometimes, I like to be kissed first.") Not-Iris mischievously convinces Iris to cover his scars to see if his Lillium can truly tell the two apart.
"Do you think your Lillium can tell us apart?"
Iris pondered this. "Well, yeah. I have scars, and you don't" he responds, matter-of-factly.
"I mean, say we were to cover up your scars and we looked identical. Think he could tell?"
"Hmm… Did he notice anything off when you first met?"
"Not…at first." His face flushed slightly, recalling their interaction. He figured it wasn't his Lillium, but their near-kiss flustered him nonetheless. A mischievous idea came to his mind, and he put his pencil down and shifted the conversation to deflect from his embarrassment. "You should test him."

Albedo turned around in his chair with furrowed brows, “What, Alberich?” he snapped, finally acknowledging him, an unusual annoyance in his tone.
Quite frankly frightened to be called by his last name in that tone of voice, by Albedo, of all people, Kaeya still felt his heart aching more at the sight in front of him right then.

Atsu can't get over her survivor's guilt, and Oyuki has been her comfort yet also her source of anger and conflict. Oyuki eventually leaves to Teshio Ridge and doesn't return, and without understanding why this goodbye eats away at her, Atsu goes after her.

This is my attempt at working Atsu's resentment out and getting them to a happy ending that makes sense for those of us that felt Atsu's anger subsided too quick at this hot woman's presence. I played this game in Japanese dub in case that's relevant for how I will be depicting the characters. This is planned as a short fic as of right now.

"Albedo gege is happy!" Klee bursts out of nowhere. Albedo chokes on air, but Kazuha meets the incriminating, but of course entirely faulty affirmation with a laugh and a "You think so, Klee?"
"Yes! His eyes are smiling! I haven't seen him this happy before!"
"I'm not-" Kazuha raises an eyebrow at him, so Albedo tries a different approach. "That is, I am happy, but not... Who's to say I am happier than usual?"
"Klee, evidently," Kazuha says. He pauses, thoughtful, before breaking into a gentle smile. "And I as well. You've looked happier recently. You smile more easily than when we met."

But from what he had learned in a lifetime at Kazuha's side, truth always worked better than pitiful excuses. "Do you believe in reincarnation?"
There was no hesitation in the man's voice. "I do," he said.
