An old Inazuman proverb says: “Though the fool waits, the day does not”.
Actually, that proverb might not have actually come from Inazuma – much unlike Monsieur Neuvillette’s handsome friend whom he met during the previous year’s Fontinalia Festival – and whom he strangely forgot to mention to Wriothesley this entire time.
Wriothesley ends up accompanying the two on Mr. Ayato’s sightseeing tour, and quickly realizes that for *some* reason, he can’t stand him. No, he’s not jealous. That’d be ridiculous! He’s far too old for that. It’s not like he’s even in love with Neuvillette, or—
Okay, fine. He might be in love with him. So, what now? He’s got his own reasons not to confess, but is he just supposed to sit there and watch that sleazeball steal his man? And what kind of FREAK adds tapioca to his tea, anyway?!Well, as another Inazuman proverb would say: “The words unspoken leave the commissioner wishing some people would just get a room and stop taking their sexual frustration out on him”.

Summary
Neuvillette knows little of what it means to be a dragon; he has spent his entire life among the people of Fontaine. Everything he does know about dragons, he has uncovered himself through trial and error and the occasional bit of obscure research. But this, at least, he recognizes.
Mating instincts.
By protecting him, the duke is behaving like a dragon seeking a mate, and that has triggered Neuvillette’s own instincts to judge the duke’s adequacy.
When Wriothesley begins acting like a dragon courting his mate, Neuvillette finds himself torn between duty and desire.

When they’re on the forecastle, with the helm just behind them and the figurehead casting them further in shadow, Usopp calls, “Raise the sails!”
Luffy’s gasp next to his ear is the best part of his entire day.
The sails unfold in a great rolling crash of canvas. Even the striped gaff swings out, catching the wind. The whole sloop gives a powerful lurch as if she’s eager to sprint out of port on the back of whatever gale blows along next.
And painted on the foresail, bold and bright and proud, is a grinning Jolly Roger in a yellow straw hat.
“That’s mine,” Luffy whispers, hushed and awed.
“Told you so,” Usopp says smugly.

Which means he is perfectly fine when Luffy's other older brother comes to visit. He's not scared, because that would be stupid. Why would he be afraid of a guy who could break his captain's heart with a few words, or crush his bone to powder when they were play-fighting on deck?

All of these thoughts fly out of Sanji’s head when Zoro opens his mouth and asks, “Who are the Vinsmokes?”
Glass shatters at his feet. The room goes deathly silent.
Sanji hardly notices, rooted in place with frozen shock and trying to process the question in a way that makes sense. His disbelieving gaze is riveted on Zoro’s face, and Zoro stares back steadily, revealing nothing. “Where,” Sanji says, slowly, quietly, his voice cutting through the stillness like a blade, “did you hear that name?”
Zou isn't the first time the Strawhats hear of the Vinsmokes. Because apparently Sanji can't keep his mouth shut when he's drugged, sick, and delirious with fever.
Or: Sanji has a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. But it's okay, because his family is always there for him.

She thought about guilt. Thought about those other girls hearing he was dead. Their shoulders would slump in relief, and then their shoulders would curl forward with the guilt of it.
She thought about her own shoulders at that age — how they had shrunk in on themselves.
