“Your turn, tough guy,” Tucker says, over his shoulder. “Pants.”
“I can do it,” Frank snaps. “I’m not-” He cuts himself off before the word little can escape again. “I can do it.”
“Awesome,” Tucker says. “Then do it. Bath water’s getting lonely.”
Frank grumbles, but he kicks off his sneakers, peels his jeans down in damp, resistant jerks. His boxers are splattered with mud, dark streaks up his thighs. He hesitates at the edge of the tub, eyeing the bubbles like they might explode.
“C’mon, Frankie,” Anthony says suddenly, soft around his fingers. “P-pengwins need help.”
Frank’s head tilts. “What penguins?”
Anthony scoops up a double handful of bubbles, letting them sift through his fingers like snow. “Cold,” he says, eyes big. “They c-cold. Gotta… save ‘em.”
ORAnthony has a bad brain day, Frankie is not a baby (except when he is), Tucker is trying his best, and Tim notices everything.
OR
Rainy day off, puddle jumping, bath time, pull-ups for two grumpy boys, and bedtime routines crashed by Daddy’s daddy- Master Tim.
