The first thing to go is the wallpaper.
The walls are the same as they were when Barbara got taken, that same white and blue checkered pattern he’s followed with his eyes for endless hours after every stint in the Upside Down, after Billy Hargrove and the pack of demodogs and the terrifying nightmare of the underground russian base, and Steve can’t stop himself from shivering in his sweat-soaked pyjamas, tossing the covers to the side as he rolls off the bed. He can feel his heartbeat in his throat, and his vision is blurry around the edges, skin stretched tight over whatever the fuck is brewing inside his body.
His gaze snags on the edge of the wallpaper, the little corner that is folding up under the light switch and Steve—he rips it off. Claws at it with the type of blind fury he’s grown intimate with.
This is what he’s good at.
OR: Steve inherits a house that has never felt like a home. He starts fixing what’s broken, finds help in unlikely places, and somewhere between paint cans and late-night talks, he learns how to build something that lasts.

Summary
Set 10-years after the finale of "Glee: The New York Story", 35-year-old Finn Hudson is thriving in New York City as a professor at NYADA while living in Brooklyn with his wife Rachel Berry and their two children.
But everything that can go wrong does; Finn finds out his job is in jeopardy, Rachel is having trouble booking a new Broadway role and their Brooklyn loft is water damaged due to their son's aloofness. With nowhere to go, Finn, Rachel and their children pack their bags and head to Los Angeles to stay with Finn’s sister Marley Rose, and his best friend Noah Puckerman.
There Finn finds out about a Eurovision-type competition for Show Choirs, with a prize for $10,000. In an effort to use that money and prove a point that show choir is needed, Finn and Puck wrangle the old New Directions back together in order to compete against the top show choirs in the world.
However, as the Alumni dive deeper into the competition, they realize their biggest issue isn't the other teams: it's each other.
