"Fuck, V." Johnny hovered anxiously over him, unable to help. He tried to grip his shoulder, to hold him upright, but it phased right through him.
He'd pushed it too far. It was dangerous to let Johnny in like that. He knew that.

Ever since she had gotten pregnant, he had gone overboard with the pampering. He'd refused to admit it, but watching the way her eyes softened whenever he did little things such as this, it was better than any drug in the world. He thrived on it.

It was a bigger task than he'd imagined. It had been months, almost, without bothering with it. After losing Jackie, everything had lost it's appeal. The sky was a dull grey and food had turned to ash. Moving on wasn't as simple as flicking on a switch.
Though, V figured he could at least try, in some simple way. Like, y'know, masturbation.
Yet, Johnny lingered ever-present in the back of his mind. Even if he had yet to say anything, which was surprising, it was the simple fact of having an audience that set V on edge.
