Summary
Bound together by a shared goal, the group Will gathered seemingly didn't have much going on outside of that. Unfortunately, being stuck in such a situation only lead them to discover more about themselves than what they bargained for.
Or; several moments throughout the events of Metaphor Refantazio, but with greater emphasis on character interaction and expanded backstories. Technically a canon rewrite with new content and some shipping, but currently doesn’t divert from the storyline much… yet.

Summary
They laughed about the possibility of death once—or rather, his mentor did. If Raidou ever wanted him to put a sock in it, he’d need to get a demon to do the dirty work by eating his soul. Of course, before Gouto spoke, there was a telling lack of his feline vessel’s magnetite, with what was present being too much for any creature of that size. Instincts, experience, and perfect puppeteering was enough to mask his actual identity, and even then, with how long the ex-summoner went without so much as practicing his craft, what he possessed wouldn’t be appetizing. The fourteenth better not get any ideas, though.
He couldn’t find any amusement in it then. Couldn’t put himself at ease now.
The Gouto getting 'replaced' with Goto part of the remaster, now with consequences.

He could feel everyone's burning gazes on him. This needed to conclude quickly, lest he make things worse, but he had no real solution in sight.
...
Damn it all, if only he could operate the teleporter on Will's gauntlet runner himself, he could have some of these managed in a matter of days.
At the behest of his king, Strohl finds himself more idle than he'd like in the weeks following the coronation. Armed with an unshakable desire to do more for him, and countless lingering doubts, he revisits an old fascination, one he hopes will aid in the goal of bringing lasting peace. Yet, as he delves into this new project, he finds those old wounds cut deeper than he realized.
