Book one ends with two major diffrences: 1. Sokka went on the mission with Hahn (it did not go well) 2. Zhao survives the North Pole and that proves unfortunate for everybody (except Zhao, obviously)
Imprisoned on Zhao’s war ship, Sokka and Zuko have to work together to survive. They are not very enthusiastic about this prospect.
And they argue.

Homecoming AU.
Ben and May divorced before Peter’s parents died, so when Ben is murdered Peter goes into foster care. It takes just a tiny taste of superpowers for Peter to decide he doesn’t want to put up with his horrible foster father anymore—the streets are infinitely more appealing. All he wants is to be Spider-Man anyway.
So he leaves.
Simple.
Simple, that is, until Iron Man needs Spider-Man’s help. Peter isn’t about to turn down an opportunity to fight alongside Tony Freaking Stark, but he also isn’t going to let his hero know that his recruit is a fifteen-year-old homeless dropout. So they strike a deal. Peter will help Tony. In return, the mask stays on.
And that’s when things get complicated.

A post-Sonic 3 movie fic based on the last look Maddie gives them before they go to stop the Eclipse Cannon and what it means to Tails in particular. Lucky for him he has two big brothers always looking out for him.

The Guardians are captured and Peter is taken to their captors to be questioned. Instead of torturing him, however, the interrogator injects him with a truth drug. Due to his hybrid nature, however, the serum works a little too well: Peter can't shut up and starts babbling whatever comes into his mind. Frustrated, his captors throw him back into the cell to let the serum wear off. Unfortunately, that means that the Guardians are stuck with a drugged up Peter who can't stop talking!Peter talks about really painful and private stuff like how lonely he was before he met the team or how his childhood was really messed up and how unsure he is about his role as their leader.

Prompt from Defective_Avian: I always thought it would be cute to read about Maddie (or Tom) helping Sonic/Knuckles/Tails brush out their fur/quills. That seems like it might be a troublesome task to do on their own, and for a lot of their life they hadn’t had anyone to help them. It would also be a bonding experience. Just an idea. 🙂))

Casey walks through the short hallway, throws his keys onto the side table, and sets the bags on the counter. He lets his eyes clear the room like always. April thinks it's a waste with all the security Draxum burned into the walls, but it's a habit he's reluctant to let go of. His eyes move over the cramped living room and he freezes. Casey looks at the figure on the couch, takes in the familiar slouch and metal arm, and closes his eyes. He must be more exhausted than he thought. He hasn’t hallucinated Master Leonardo in forty-seven days. His shoulders slump at the unexpected relapse and he pulls out his phone. He promised Raph he’d text if this ever happened again.
