He had been there when he had found them in the middle of the night walking around the castle talking about 'poetry'. It had been there when Arthur had found out about Merlin's magic, and it had also been there when Arthur had become increasingly jealous and possessive of Merlin.
So, Leon had always been there, right?
Whether he wanted it or not. And often, very often, he didn't want to.

And don't forget the unbridled silliness. Obvi.
