Shanks jerked forward as Luffy, his son, older and taller, but he’d know his kid anywhere no matter the age, stepped into the ring of firelight, a wide D grin stretched across his face, straw hat sat firmly on his head. "Anchor!?""Hi Mãe." Luffy replied, still grinning and with a small wave.

“Marco! Breakfast ended like an hour ago, get the hell up!” He hadn’t heard that voice in years. It truly was cruel. He bit his lip and hugged the pillow to his face, trying to bury himself further into the fabric, if that was even possible.
“Marco!” The Thatch of his dreams slammed his fist on the door again. Cruel, too cruel. Marco’s knuckles went white with how hard he was clutching the pillow, feeling the fabric tearing under his grip.
Another knock, obnoxiously loud. Marco wanted to scream. He wanted to scream and cry and tell him to get the fuck away, to just stop! He wanted it all to stop! He knew he’d fucked up! He knew it already! Why the hell did they have to keep tormenting him!? Why did he have to see them over and over and know that every time he reached out they’d vanish into nothing but fire and blood!?

“You were speaking different languages. Last night but also back on the rock.” Zeff spoke gently, Sanji didn’t know what his expression was, he couldn’t look at him yet. “I only knew one or two of them myself, but anyone can tell when someone is asking for help no matter what language they speak.”
Sanji closed his eyes.
“I-I don’t know.” He kept his hands in his hair. “I don’t know how many languages I know. I just know them. I can’t explain why.”

Sabo had barely survived after recalling his memories and finding out that Ace had died at Marineford. Finding Luffy, he had sworn a blood oath towards Ace to keep him safe; only Luffy died in the war against the World Government. Or was currently dying in Sabo’s arms. The White glow of his brother’s fruit was fighting to keep Luffy alive and it was losing. Closing his eyes, Sabo prayed for this to not be real; but when he opened his eyes, instead of seeing Luffy in his arms he finds both of his brothers holding out their hands to him. In which an invisible force sends Sabo back to when his family was whole. Now how to keep it that way?

Dogs were once wolves. Transformed over time by heavy Hylian hands, domestication blunted their fangs and soothed their wild nature. They became docile, and unwilling to speak out. Wild wasn't a dog, but that didn't mean the metaphor affected him any less. After a lifetime of servitude and silence, it was only natural that his sharp edges had been smoothed, his spirit dimmed.
Eight other heroes won't change his life so quick, but they can certainly nudge him in the right direction.
Or, another chain meets Wild fic, but Wild is much less 'wild'.

Summary
Zoro is a tiger hybrid that has recently left the only home he'd known. His travels brought him to the lovely Willow Moss Village. The humans here are kind and welcoming. They make him feel accepted in a way he has never quite experience before. As friendship grows in his heart, he realizes he would do anything for the good of the village.
On the night of the village's anniversary, raiders attack. Zoro, out of practice and outmanned, does his best to protect the village. When his wounds grow to be too great, he falls and silently calls out to any that will hear his plea. His desperate cry is heard by the village's guardian deity but the great being is low on spiritual energy. Healed from his wounds by the deity, Zoro pledges to sleep with the fertility good if the immortal will promise to save Zoro's gentle new home.

And it wasn't that he was homophobic or anything... It was that it was Zoro, bane of his life, the guy who dried his socks on Sanji’s stove top and made a point to take out at least one more opponent than him in every battle, the guy who once tried to cut his own feet off cos his idiot brain was too full of fungus to come up with a better plan to continue the fight he was embroiled in. And if Sanji had ever thought about it before – which he hadn't – he would've thought that Zoro would prefer the more dominant role. The fucking...penetrative role.
Sanji accidentally catches Zoro having rough, anonymous gay sex with a stranger.
It happens again. And again. Soon he can't even look Zoro in the eye any more, and he's suffering so many internal crises he doesn't know how to handle it - and how to not make it Zoro's problem.

“What’s your name?” he asks, because if their patient is conscious, he might as well tell them. There’s something uncomfortably detached about referring to someone as “that guy” when you’ve seen half of their innards spilling out. “I’m Sanji,” he offers when he gets no immediate response, and he itches for a cigarette to entertain himself with while the man pulls his feet under him like a newborn lamb.
In the faint moonlight and backlit with the light from the hallway, he’s both deathly pale and bathed in shadows that make him look gaunt and distraught. His hand reaches up to his throat, not touching, just hovering, and he opens his mouth on a word, his lips dry, pink with small cracks that threaten to break and well up with blood. No sound leaves him.
His hand drops, mouth closing with a clack of teeth gnashing together, swallowing down ire instead of words.
Sanji frowns. “Can you talk?”
His stomach drops at the glare that earns him. Vicious and a little wild around the edges, like he’s mad Sanji even dared to ask.
