"Well, I don't mind," Shi Qingxuan told him, smiling. His smile was contagious, brightening any room he was in. It burned like acid in He Xuan's heart. He forced a thin smile in return, though he still couldn't bring himself to look directly at the beautiful thief across from him. He was lucky that Shi Qingxuan was so easy to make friends with - his plan would never have succeeded if it had relied entirely on his own charm. But no, the Wind Master was so approachable, so warm and generous, that it had been no difficulty at all to insinuate himself into his friendship - and now, his bath.

The plan, as it stands, is rather simple.
Go back to the past, find a way to get an audience with Wen Ruohan, join the Wen sect and lay low there, and work from within to avert the oncoming bloodshed and insanity. Then, finally, at the end of it all, Wei Wuxian should be able to sit back and watch from afar as his friends and family and everyone he'd once failed to protect lived for at least as long as it took for Wei Wuxian's coreless body to give out.
