it's clark's birthday; he gets drunk. and really, who cares that there are other people in the room, or that he was worried about confessing in the first place for a reason? someone should tell bruce how much he's loved.

Ivo gets the feeling there’s some sort of joke there that he’s missing; Stone’s eyes widening with a mild amount of panic only serves to exacerbate that. “And it is a good job, but… Look, there’s a routine training day coming up in a few weeks. Surely you could manage one day off for that?”
“I’ll have to check with my doct-” Stone pauses, cutting himself off, “My boss, with my boss.”

He frowned, tilting his head slightly. Something was missing. The latte art. Stone had always drawn something. His own little touch. A heart, a weird doodle of him and Stone, or just Robotnik himself. It was stupid and unnecessary, but it was Stone.
And now it was gone. Just like his smile.

After the explosion, Dr Robotnik learnt three things in quick succession:
1. A sufficiently large detonation combined with a sufficiently large amount of Chaos Energy creates a wormhole through which one can travel (or be sucked at the last second) to a parallel universe relatively safely.
2. Earth seemed to stay pretty consistent across most universes.
3. It appeared that, after a life of self-imposed seclusion in the manner of a gizmo-ridden, super-genius, hermetic monk, when it came down to brass tacks, Dr Robotnik was hard-pushed to tell the difference between most Earths.Dr Robotnik jumps through universes to try and get back home, confronting his feelings for Agent Stone along the way.

Cursing the unreliability of his technology, Batman channeled his inner darkness and composed himself enough to respond.
“Uh. no.” He called dumbly, the Joker cursing quietly as he smacked his palm against his forehead.
“Then why are you in the guest bedroom, sir?”
Alternatively, after Alfred notices the Joker sneaking around the manor, Batman struggles with how to tell his family about their little... arrangement.

This is a story of the slow but worth-it progress they make with physical touch in their relationship.
They are a power couple and not afraid to throw hands and get into silly shenanigans to protect each other
