Quirrel is the first bug in the Crossroads to not attack the Knight on sight. The Knight is a strange and slightly disconcerting little thing, but actually listens when Quirrel starts rambling about history. It only makes sense to travel together.

Summary
Centricide's main premise is political ideologies fighting other political ideologies, right? So, I got curious - how would they interact with regular human beings? What it would be like for an average Joe to meet ideologies made manifest? I ended up writing a couple of bite-size stories that try to explore that idea. These were largely inspired by Simulated Universe from HSR and its Aeon encounter events. And, as tags might suggest, Lovecraft. So if you aspire to fist-fight god, you've come into the wrong place. Sorry!

Summary
Techno slammed his fists against the transparent wall of his prison, trying his best to break it down. His captors backed up, whistling anxiously to each other.
He gave the barrier another loud crack, delightedly watching as they scrambled away in abject terror.
Nodding in satisfaction, he turned around to meet the eyes of two other prisoners that had been thrown into his cell.
He froze.
Right.
There were now aliens in his cell.
And he probably just scared the hell out of them.
Or: Humans are a dangerous race feared by all on an intergalactic scale. Techno, a human ex-soldier that was abducted by aliens 18 months ago, is biding his time in captivity.
This changes when two young aliens are sent into his cell to die.
