Summary
Something something: the symbolism of Kevin living in a motel reflects the lack of effort he put into his life, but after the movie, that changed, so I think he deserves a house. And of course, the house he moves into is at the edge of the town, close to the desert, so he can be near his new friend :)

Every time he feels he's gotten close to finally driving a stake through the bastard's heart, he slips away, leaving Wile E. battered, bruised and feeling incredibly pathetic in his wake.
One day, he's called off to get rid of a local vampire and, while he doesn't want to abandon the chase he's in, he ultimately complies and takes the job.
He doesn't expect that bastard to follow him.
He definitely doesn't expect that bastard to get jealous, either.
He DEFINITELY isn't expecting to fall in love, either, but most people rarely expect that sort of thing.

Then Foghorn Leghorn arrives with plans for a three-day motorcycle race promising big crowds, bigger money, and some of the best riders in the country. With Road Runner sure to compete, it should be Wile E.’s best chance yet to finally beat him. Except there’s a lot more money riding on the race than what’s waiting at the finish line. Betting has already sprung up around the local races, and Leghorn’s event is attracting people interested in more than simple racing.

Sigh. His paws.
The black pads were incredibly dry and rough, calloused from repeated invention-crafting and decades of running in the desert, with nothing to protect them from the hot, dry New Mexican ground. Cracks formed along the natural curves of each pad, often re-splitting and bleeding if working on a particularly component-heavy trap.
The sight of them was enough to make the coyote stop and frown.
They were tangible reminders of each failed trap, of each faulty ACME product. Each time he’d been used by ACME. Each time he’d almost caught the Road Runner.
Sigh. The Road Runner…
