Shane had expected Ilya to smell like Axe body spray or Old Spice Mountain something or Paco Rabanne whatever the fuck. But no. Underneath the tobacco smoke and the salt of his sweat, he smelled like freshly cut grass and lavender and lilies. It wasn't the oily and a little stale scent of a perfume, it was fresh - inhaling near Rozanov's neck was like smelling a garden. Shane found it puzzling and weirdly endearing.
