Summary
"Whatever you do, at the crossroads, don't turn left."
Avery didn't listen, and he chased after D3rlord3.
Soon, he'd find that he had a friend willing to host a malicious god within their own mind and let themselves wither away to kill it, just to keep him safe.
If only he hadn't checked his inventory.
If only he hadn't fallen for it.
You were incredibly smart, Derek.
So why did you have to go and do something so dumb?
—+×+—
Avery was safe. The King was contained and soon to be gone... surely, that should be the end of it all, yes?
No. D3rlord3 was still alive. He could still hear his mind racing. He could hear the screams of every end. He could hear the cries of every outcome in which he failed. He could hear it. He could hear it all. Worst of all, he could hear the echoing sound of 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙜.

(Incomplete/indefinite hiatus. If i continue this, it will be rewritten)
Post-canon AU
Uzi kinda regrets swallowing the [NULL] from Cyn's heart, but she can't really complain considering it saved the entire universe.
And her boyfriend.
And literally everything she knew and loved.
This little demon child that could talk to her through her mind and tail was annoying, but fine, a necessary sacrifice... Too bad she can't just cut Cyn off of her or use an antivirus.
Oh well.
This is life now.

Summary
After hundreds, thousands, maybe tens of thousands, of round after round of death and uncertainty, those forsaken and trapped within the gloomy realm awake to find themselves in a luxurious hotel next to a stunning beach and a dock. Unlimited fresh fruits and vegetables, every need tenderly cared to by the staff. A large city nearby, just a short walk, had hundreds of lovely shops and stores full of clothes, souvenirs, sweet treats...
It's all perfect.
Its the perfect atmosphere, the perfect location...
For a little break.

The Spectre realizes that making people suffer is FAR more enjoyable if you watch them actually get to be happy– especially when they're happy together.

Summary
For Serial Designation J, it's lonely being only effective disassembly drone in her sector of Copper-9. N was already a walking synergistic liability, but V couldn't be more obviously stressed and maladaptively coping if she tried. When a botched disassembly leaves V a nightmare-riddled wreck, the squad's effectiveness hits its lowest point. With disassemblers like these, you'd swear the worker drones show more initiative!
Uzi Doorman is a cool, independent worker drone. After Doll abandoned her, she doesn't need anyone else — all she needs is to finish her railgun and blow the murder drones anyway. Of course, if that plan goes wrong she'll be helpless at their mercy — dead, in other words.
Because J is a loyal drone. Locate, shutdown, disassemble. A simple directive she'd never hesitate to carry out. Right?
