He wanted to avoid fighting with Max, but he also knew that was probably a lost cause. Max had been a cop too long, he would figure it out.
“Wait, you don’t — she remembers the standoff at the house then? How?” Max asked in a low voice. Michael flushed, pursing his lips uncomfortably and nodding. Max let out a noise of frustration. “Are you telling me that she remembers Jones taking control of her mind and using her as a puppet hostage taker? How is that even possible? None of Noah’s victims ever remembered being body-snatched, including Isobel, at least not until she started taking that serum.”
“I don’t know if she remembers Jones, but she does somehow remember me. From when I intervened, I guess.”
