Summary
Buck unknowingly falls for local Diner owner Tommy in the lead up to Valentine's Day.
Excerpt:
An honest to god jukebox in the corner only adds to the ambiance, playing a steady stream of old love songs Chim would probably make fun of him for not knowing. Screw him if the Backstreet Boys and Bobby’s Springsteen concerts are as far back as his music knowledge goes.
His thoughts are interrupted by Tommy, possibly the most well muscled restaurant proprietor in LA giving him a refill. He keeps meaning to ask the guy for his workout routine, but Buck always gets sucked into totally different conversations whenever the man’s eyes land on his.

Summary
“This is your couch,” Tommy says, pointing at it as he sits.
He smooths his hand over the cushion in between them. Buck wonders if he’s remembering all the good times they had on this couch, all the times they cuddled and made out and fucked, the time that Tommy slept on it to take care of Buck while his shoulder was injured. That’s what Buck is thinking about.
“Uh, yeah, it is. I took- Eddie couldn’t find a good renter, and he needed to leave, so I, uh, I took over his lease, so he wouldn’t have to worry about it. I live here now.”
Tommy’s eyebrows climb once again. “No more bachelor pad loft?”
Buck laughs awkwardly. “Nope, just uh- just a bachelor pad house now.”
Tommy looks around at Buck’s sleek furniture, Buck’s cool-toned modern art on Eddie’s warm walls, and he doesn’t say it but Buck can see him thinking the same thing Buck has been thinking since he moved in. This isn’t you.
