The sky caves inwards with light from behind, it seems as though the moon itself has come crashing down to earth. streaks of light fly off collapsing into their own fiery embers. it travels across the sky with the speed of the gods, and the trail it leaves behind is burned into my eyes. Hands shaking, I search the sky wildly for the north star trying to find a good reference point to determine where the star is heading, but there's no need. Aligned with the north star almost perfectly is the star that crashed.
