Summary
The value of a good disguise is, of course, in how well it hides your identity. Ergo, Deductive Logico has a very good reason to not correct people when they assume “Marzipan” is a they/them—anyone who believes such is less likely to make the connection between them and Logico.
Only...it doesn’t feel wrong, per se. And when he goes back to just being a he, that doesn’t feel entirely wrong either...oh dear.
(Or, Logico accidentally gives himself a gender crisis.)
