Okay, that might be a bit dramatic. But still. Jaina Proudmoore is hardly agreeable.

Unfortunately the portal sends them to another plane entirely—where Jaina, stranded in unfamiliar wilderness and crippled by the magical backlash, finds herself dependent on the assistance of an experienced ranger.
Mutual need allows them to hammer out a truce, but even that can't keep them from falling back into old habits; once through the shock, neither of them wants to rely on the other, and they're both quite willing to lie, double cross, or otherwise manipulate the other to achieve their own ends. The tentative ceasefire seems doomed to failure, until contact with the residents of this strange new planet makes it horrifyingly clear exactly what kind of civilization they have stumbled upon.
Suddenly, everything has become simpler—and infinitely more complicated.
