Summary
“Charlie doesn't have dimples.”
He doesn't remember saying it. They stare at each other and Pim thinks he's fucked it up. Why did he say that? Who even asked? He thinks she's gonna scrunch up her nose, gonna scoff and say 'You know better than me? Someone who grew up with him? Someone who loved him? What's wrong with you?' He doesn't wanna make anyone upset (and gosh, he hates being yelled at) but before his mind can go further into the depths of regret, she smiles.
“When he's kissing you, yeah.”

Summary
Charlie Dompler’s life was always the same: he would wake up at noon, shower, go to work, and then pass out either high or drunk at 2AM. The only variety he had in his life was when he hung out with his best friend, Pim, or had not-so-good sex with his girlfriend. He was okay with this. Or at least he thought he was.
Pim Pimling, on the other hand, had his life full of events. He was busy trying to get a promotion at his job, working as a Smiling Friend. Ever since he could remember, he had always felt the emotions of the people around him. Unfortunately, the person he cared about most was one of the few people he didn’t know how to help.
--OR--
Charlie forgets about a drunken kiss that he had with Pim. Chaos ensues.

(The fic is actually a lot more serious than this dumb synopsis, please mind the tags lol)

Summary
“Ah. Uh, sorry to have made assumptions.”
“It was Tyler.”
“Ohhh. Mmm.” Pim nodded, considering it. “That’s fair.”
“The boss was the flower girl.”
“Couldn’t imagine him as anything else!”
“You were the groom.”
“I get the picture, Charlie.”
“Okay, just making sure you knew. Because it seemed like you didn’t know.”
“Well-- well of course I knew.” Pim protested despite not knowing.
Old Charlie looked at Pim skeptically. “So you know then.”
“Yes!” Pim replied, starting to get frustrated.
“You know I married you.”
“YES! …no? Wait, what?”
Pim wakes up in a universe where he's married to Charlie.
