As part of Targaryen tradition, each member of the royal family is gifted a petrified dragon egg to take with them everywhere. When a Targaryen falls ill or is injured, eggs will be placed in the fire closest to the fallen dragon, in hopes that their magic may heal the Prince/Princess.
Baelor Targaryen wakes a week after the Trail by Seven, while his condition isn't as bad as the maesters had feared, it's still not ideal. Also four of the five dragon eggs that were placed in his hearth hatch.

His brother kept brushing his hair, unaffected by the sudden burst of frustration. He was patient, another trait that Maekar admired. Baelor had immense depths of patience that he poured into every aspect of his life: his children, nephews and nieces, politics, and most importantly, his younger brother. No matter what Maekar said or did, Baelor was patient and understanding, brushing off all manners of behaviour and every shade of insults the younger came up with.
OR: Maekar admires Baelor so much that he asks for help with dyeing his hair black.
