Summary
This is a crossover between Doctor Who and “Tam Lin,” the ancient ballad from the Scottish Borders. It also uses plot elements from The Perilous Gard by Elizabeth Marie Pope (1974) and the movie The Wicker Man (1973). If you’re familiar with these or any similar stories about the tithe, this may be easy to predict, but I enjoyed writing it.
This is set in Season 2 of the reboot, at Halloween, somewhere between “Rise of the Cybermen” and “Doomsday.”When I got this idea recently, I thought it wasn’t worth writing because this exact fic must exist many times over on AO3. I found only 4 results on AO3 for “Tam Lin” and “Doctor Who." And none involve the Tenth Doctor or Rose. I’m surprised because it maps onto the characters and themes so well.

Summary

Summary
After their dinner at the Ritz, Aziraphale and Crowley finally move in together. They try hard to find date night activities they both enjoy. They get paranoid, though, fearing that agents from Heaven and Hell could find out about their relationship. They also get especially testy whenever humans get basic facts wrong, whether they’re handling artifacts or theorizing about the cosmos. These squabbles let the angel and demon understand themselves and each other a little better.

Summary
Note: Over 12 years after writing "In the Convent," my fanfic of James Joyce's "Araby," I finally wanted to write a sequel to my earlier story. It is set decades later. It's ekphrasis (detailed description of visual art in writing) that also interpolates Joyce's story and St. Teresa of Avila's writings.
Trigger warnings: sexual repression; lots of compulsory Catholicism and allo-, cis-, heteronormativity; sexual assault/abuse (all implied and ambiguous, not explicit, partly because of the repression). I also tried to address the Orientalist (racist and fetishizing) themes that the original uses.

Summary
A Peter Pan book AU. Stede has been forced to grow up and put his childish dreams away, but one night he gets a mysterious visitor that brings it all back.
Stede is dreaming.
He rarely remembers his dreams; his father would say that he spends so much of his awake life dreaming that his sleeping mind has no need to provide more material. But sometimes, a dream breaks through. This time, he’s dreaming of Neverland. It’s an old favourite, and it used to feature more heavily in his dreams when he was a child. He used to be able to see it in great detail, back then. But the map of Neverland that he holds in his mind is locked away in that box, with his Belief, safe and secure, never to be looked at. He only has a dim recollection now. It’d sharpened into focus for a short while, when Alma had gone through her pirate phase a few years ago. But she, unlike her father, had done the proper thing and left it behind as she grew.
But tonight? Tonight it’s so clear that he can smell it. There’s brine, and gunpowder, and adventure.

After years of jumping between universes, watching the stars go out, and saving as many lives as she can, Rose Tyler finally gets to reunite with her Doctor. He is nothing short of thrilled--although he can't help but let a little bit of worry creep in when he notices her injuries.

Summary
After witnessing the aftermath of traveling with the Doctor at Deffry Vale High School and being abandoned on a killer spaceship for a French courtesan, Rose realizes that she has two options: spend the rest of her life in love with someone who won’t let himself love her back, pretending it doesn’t bother her, or build a life of her own without him. She chooses the latter.
After Rose’s departure, the Doctor gets an unwelcome taste of what traveling without her is like. Meanwhile, with the help of friends new and old, Rose learns that being Earthbound can have a lot more to it than beans on toast, if you know where to look (and what to do when you get there). On their separate journeys, they will each grow and change, learning more about themselves and their needs and desires. The question is, will those changes bring them back together or push them further apart?

Summary
A trip to France reminds the Doctor and Rose to cherish the life they have together. Girl in the Fireplace fix-it.
This is a complete fixit, with absolutely none of the cringe-worthy elements of the original present. There is no kiss, no romantic overtones between the Doctor and Reinette at all, no notion of the Doctor leaving Rose behind while he saves Reinette's life. Instead, there's a story of the Doctor and Rose meeting a French aristocrat at various points of her life and saving her--together.
