Her brows knitted together. “And what is that supposed to mean?”

Wemmbu instinctively took a step back.
The figure tilted its head. “You were born a question.”
Silence settled between them. “Tell me, little Veilborne…” Its voice lowered.
“Have you found the answer to why you were born?”

What if Dream was aware while he was in stone? It’s essentially what I think would happen afterward if he was.
Btw, this has my own headcanons in it, like Passive still being inside Corrupted deep inside, he just has some trouble showing Dream how much he cares now, Nightmare visiting Dream while he was in stone, and most importantly, Dream can touch Nightmare without melting here, just because :)
