He knows what Daniel is about to say before he begins.
“Yeah, hey listen. I got some fact checking to do—”
“I’ve told you, Daniel. I’ve given my story. He can give his. I declined to participate in this documentary—”
“I watched you feed on Armand in Dubai, right? I’m not making that up?”
Louis’s hands pause. That wasn’t what he was expecting at all.
Or
For 114 years, Louis had an aversion to drinking Lestat's blood, but not for the reason Lestat thinks. Daniel reaches out to Louis for a fact check.

Summary
“I’d love to meet with you,” Davey said, apologetically, when he had been called up by a fellow looking to initiate therapy, “but I’m all booked up for months.”
“Are you sure?” The fellow said, through a poor connection that crackled.
Davey had been sure. And yet. Right there in his calendar was a blank spot, just a few days away, which he had somehow completely overlooked before. “How about that…I’ve got Wednesday at eleven, if you can make that work.”
“What a miracle,” the fellow said, “that would be just the perfect time.”

Summary
“So you didn’t enjoy corrupting me, even a little?” And that - that was definitely Aziraphale’s mischievous voice, “Drawing me away from the straight and narrow?”
Crowley blinked. Interesting. “I didn’t not enjoy it. Heaven never deserved you. Encouraging you to forge your own path outside their limitations was perhaps, a little satisfying.”
“And now?” Aziraphale leaned toward Crowley, “Do you still get satisfaction when you tempt me?”
“I don’t - I mean I don’t really need to tempt you anymore angel.”
“Is that right? Already corrupted am I?”
Crowley’s mind leapt of its own volition to the previous evening, when Aziraphale had thoroughly fucked Crowley over his desk, zero temptation required. His mouth went a little dry, “Would you like me to tempt you, angel?”
Set in an unspecified future when they figure it all out and are happy together.

Summary
Aziraphale had looked at him so helplessly, so brokenly, but he had nodded, pursing his trembling lips together and then parting them again as he sank to his knees before Crowley just as the demon had done for him, both entirely out of their own violation and desires and wants and needs - and that was that.
(There is something so delectably awful, Crowley had thought once, about giving into desire, but denying yourself the one part of it that you want the most, now isn’t there?)
Don’t kiss me, he said, he repeated over and over and over not as a reminder for Aziraphale but for himself - because if he didn’t, he would not be able to find comfort in the feeling of Aziraphale’s touch, and he needed that, just as much as the angel needed his.
Crowley and Aziraphale figure that if things are already going to shit, surely they can't make it worse by giving in to each others' temptation. (Or: a lot of smut. Some of it very emotionally visceral and angry, at least on Crowley's part, and a purposeful lack of kissing, because that would just hurt too badly, now wouldn't it?)

Throughout history, Aziraphale has sort of made a habit of getting tattoos. Lots of them. All hidden under his many layers of clothing, of course— it’s simply another secret indulgence to him.

Summary
Overall, the rules regarding miracles really are, well…miraculously close to Genie Rules. Aziraphale's honestly baffled that it's taken him over 6000 years to stumble across such a realisation.
But the thing is, other than three simple parameters, miracles are…essentially limitless. From a technical standpoint, miracles could be used to do…just about anything.
There's not any real need for either of them to do anything the human way.
But they don't do things the human way out of need.
They do them because they like to.
(OR: An exploration of Crowley and Aziraphale’s appreciation of doing things the human way. Light on plot, heavy on love x)

Aziraphale forces a smile. He's squirming again, feels as if he can't get comfortable in his damned seat. Grips his knees at the same moment his eyes abandon him and give into their temptations. Drinks in the sight of the flesh molded over bone on Crowley's fingers. The blue-gray of his veins. The smoggy black of his manicure.

Summary
Crowley is back sprawled across Aziraphale's lap almost before he's even fully sat back down in the chair, and Aziraphale just hums a quiet laugh and resumes carding his fingers through the demon's shoulder-length hair.
"I love you," he whispers, leaning down to brush a kiss over Crowley's forehead.
She scowls at him, but it's soft, and she doesn't lean away from the gentle affection radiating from Aziraphale. Even when she's angry with him, even when they fight over petty things and don't speak for days, (although those longer bouts of silence are much rarer now) she never pulls away from his love for her.

Summary
“I love you,” Crowley says.
“Oh, I know. I love you, too.”
Crowley breaks out in a wobbly smile, one more valiant tear making a break for it down his cheek. Voice cracking, Crowley says, “Home office might not like it, if they find out.”
“Home office could fill a book with reasons they don’t like us, and that’s just with the last twenty-four hours,” Aziraphale points out. “I’m sure… fraternizing—”
“Is that what the kids are calling it these days—”
“You, hush. I’m sure this—” He gestures to their naked, entwined bodies— “won’t even make the top ten.”

Summary
When bookshop owner Esther Fell invited mysterious author AJ Crowley to give a talk on her new novel, Call It Good, she hoped for a chance to meet an author she admired and to sell some books.
When Crowley sent off a caustic response to the bookseller, she hoped to have the invitation rescinded to get her publisher off her back so she could go back to grading papers, yelling at her plants, and glaring at the rough draft of her next book.
Neither expected it to blossom into a lively correspondence, nor to find a new friend...or maybe more.

Summary
Crowley is Sulking.
If you were to ask Crowley, Crowley would insist he does not sulk. Twelve year olds sulk. Crowley broods. Crowley broods so well, in fact, that he cuts a tragic, practically Byronic figure. It is, he will go on to insist, the only thing Byronic about himself, but something he is well versed in, while completely ignoring the fact that Lord Byron, like nobody’s business, could sulk up a storm.
And the thing is, Crowley is capable of brooding, once in a blue moon. But Crowley isn’t brooding. Crowley is capital S Sulking and, eventually, Aziraphale is going to have to say something.

“But you like sleeping,” Aziraphale replies, as if that means something. “All the more reason to move in with me. And I have–I have your favorite couch, for starters. And a bedroom, with a lovely, fluffy bed with only the thinnest layer of dust–”
Crowley scoffs. “Yeah, angel. A bedroom, as in, singular. I told you, there's just not enough room–”
“Precisely,” says Aziraphale, relieved to be understood. “Singular. It’s not as though we’ll be needing more than one.”
… Pardon?
