Summary
In the early days, when Astarion had first set out to seduce Tav in order to secure his loyalty, he’d thought the wizard was as easy to read as an open book. He wasn’t so sure anymore. As their bond deepened, instead of gaining clarity, Astarion found himself more and more often second-guessing what was going on inside Tav’s head. Too frequently, when Tav looked at him with those sharp, unreadable eyes, Astarion found himself at a loss for words.
He was losing control over this - whatever this was.
Astarion had perfected the art of seduction over nearly two centuries, but with Tav, he was entering uncharted territory.

As their merry band of misfits arrives in the Lower City, Astarion feels the shadow of his former master looming larger than ever. Haunted by his past and the inevitability of facing Cazador again, he finds himself grappling with something entirely new: the uncertainty of being in a relationship. As he struggles to navigate these unfamiliar waters, he begins to realise he’s not the only one interested in Tav.

Nick has to stifle a snort at that one, they've definitely gotten more creative in their efforts to torment the easiest target in their high school.
“They're losers, just ignore them.” God knows he always does – couldn't pay him to set foot near that vipers' nest. He's pretty sure half of them would claw the other half's eyes out if they could get away with it, but Vash always insists that it's just good-fun teasing between friends.
Today's pout looks more miserable than good fun.

The connection Gideon and Kremy had was unlike anything the Genasi fighter had ever known. Kremy was there for Gideon, and Gideon was there for Kremy. It didn’t matter how many times they argued nor how close together they would sleep during those cold nights, they were there for each other and always would be. Or, at least, Gideon hoped it would be so always.
