Billy was abruptly awoken when his head was jerked up from his pillow by his hair, a dull ache forming on his scalp as the grip tightened and pulled Billy backwards until he was practically bent in half. As his eyes finally adjusted to the darkness of the room, he saw that Steve was smirking above him, and once he saw that Billy was more aware of his surroundings, he only tightened his hold.
“This hurts,” Billy mumbled, trying to pry Steve’s hand from his head.
“That’s the point,” Steve replied, his grin growing wider. “You hurt me earlier with your attitude. I’m just returning the favor.”

"Hey pretty boy," Steve's mouth goes dry, hand shaking as another boom sounds. Just after the sky lights up Billy's grinning face as he turns to smirk at him, tossing his curls over his shoulder in the red glow.
