But, that wasn't right either. He didn't feel that way towards Jonathan, Steve was certain of that and, it'd been a similar situation. Then there was Robin. He'd made himself believe that's what he wanted, needed... only because it seemed logical at the moment, and then, well...

“Well, now that Stevie is here with us, I did not come in today to rent a movie my friends, but rather to invite you both to mine tonight. Music, beer, the works.” Eddie winks at Steve as he ends his performance.
Steve can feel the two sets of eyes on him. He’s been avoiding any and all gatherings at Eddie’s trailer since what happened. The crack had allegedly been repaired with no visible trace according to Robin. She knew how he felt. That the memories of that night were still fresh. That more than half of his nightmares took place in that trailer.
Steve looks at Eddie and can see the softness in his eyes. He can see no annoyance on his face after the countless time's Steve has declined or flaked out of plans over the last few months.
“Sure, what time?” Steve asks with a shrug as he tries to make his answer seem casual. Eddie’s eyes light up and Steve thinks about how pretty he is.
OR
Steve is struggling with his self-worth, mental health, sexuality, and a little bit of everything else. Eddie helps Steve stop bottling everything up.

Dead people are coming back from the afterlife to their loved ones, flooding the city with regrets yearning to be undone and unspoken words demanding to be heard this time.
Finch doesn't believe in ghosts.
He leaves no comment about miracles.
But John believes it. He knew it existed when the night wind blew strongly against their bodies and the time was counting down; when Harold left on his chest permanently his fingerprints and made it happened.
It's a miracle they're both still breathing.
They might need another one to see what does it mean before the end of everything.
