For a while, Clark handled the buds of his feelings very well, meticulously pruning them to the right degree every time they seemed like they were going to bloom into a wild and uncontrolled garden. He was Superman—more often than not, he had to work hard to be in perfect shape.
When Bruce was a little too close, a little too attractive, a little too warm, Clark quickly tried to push away any feelings of lust, trying to solemnly focus on the more tender feelings while trying to diminish them.
He could do it. No problem.
Or at least he thought he could.

He had May's funeral bills, the medical bills, and college loans to take care of. As if Jameson would give him a raise, and he was already working three jobs. He could ask Deadpool for a loan... But that sounded like a death wish. For his ego and his literal life.
Gwen tells Peter to just sell feet photos. She says that's how she paid for Mary Jane and hers wedding. Peter, obviously, wouldn't be doing that. But maybe his friend was onto something. Not feet wise, but selling photos of his body online? That didn't sound too bad...
Until Deadpool becomes his number one fan. Now Peter's dignity and secret identity are on the line.
