Summary
After the hostile takeover of the headquarters of Crane, Ashlyn Banner and the gang make it to Maverick’s study. In his hand is a pencil, and on the desk in front of him is a hastily scrawled message on top of a small book.
Maverick is dead before he knows it — shot and killed by Logan Fields. The Six finally have a moment to rest, and with that time, Ashlyn walks over to the desk that Maverick’s corpse lays in front of, and moves the note out of the way, picking up the book. She calls the other five over, and they begin to analyze the cover, and its contents.Alternate Summary: A manifesto written by Maverick talking about his past, his ideals, and his plans.
