after his near death experience in Paris, Scott is wheelchair bound and stuck at home with nothing to do but think over his thoughts. the original 5 can see their leader falling into familiar patterns- obsessing over compulsions they're all privy too. but with everything thats going on... none of them are sure how to help him. and Scott's not sure if he even deserves to be helped

a deeper dive into young Scott's mental state after being kidnapped and tortured because of something his older self did

When their lips part they're both out of breath and Dean let's out a low rumble of a laugh
"What was that for?" He asks as Cas lays back down and fits himself in the crook of Dean's neck. Deans arm snakes around up Cas's back and rests his fingers in his hair. Softly stroking the curls on the back of his head
"It was a deal" cas replied. He inched in impossiblely closer, taking up every breath off Dean that he could like it was the last time he'd ever see him.
"Deal with an angel huh?" Cas couldn't see it but he knew Dean was smirking "so, what did you do me in for"
"That's a secret" is what comes out, but what he really wanted to say was a bit different

Its been a while since any of the other knights have tried to raise their fists at Merlin. Mostly, he suspects ,it's because they don't want to fall out of the good graces of the Prince and for whatever reason messing with his manservant is the easiest way to do that.
Maybe that's why the shock shakes him down to his bones when the first blow hits him square in the jaw.
When the sharp taste of cobalt reaches his tongue he realizes just how dependent on his status he's become, he realizes just how weak he really is.
