His bare feet hardly touched the ground as he sprinted, his breaths coming in sharp heaves as he ran. He could hear yelling behind him in that sharp whistling language. His feet and legs were quickly covered in cuts from debris as he moved through the undergrowth, pushing past tyrian colored bramble-like plants, ignoring the stinging in his legs and lungs that both begged him to slow down. He didn’t have a choice here. He had to keep running.

He felt a gentle tap on his shoulder and looked over to see Wilbur watching him with a worried expression. He motioned to him to get up.
With a heavy sigh, Tommy pulled himself up from the comfort of the mattress. “What’s up, big man?”
Wilbur let out a soft trill and led him out into the main room. The rest of the crew stood in the room, all of which were dressed in more formal clothing and had bags. Tommy made a soft noise. They typically did this when they were stopping to restock on resources, just so he knew they were leaving. He nodded gently. “Alright, I’ll just stay here.”

He glanced up to see Ranboo sitting up and watching him worriedly. Tommy averted his gaze, not wanting the Enderman hybrid to see how pitiful he must look. Ranboo made a soft noise before pushing himself out of bed and approaching him, crouching down in front of him and letting out a soft noise.

The silence of the house was only broken by his echoing calls for his parents. His parents weren't home, they practically never were. At this rate, Phil was more of a parent to him, despite living a while away.
Tommy groaned, and glanced around the kitchen to see if anyone had left a note saying when they would be back. Finally, he sees one in his father's sharp black scrawl: “We’ll be back in two weeks, there’s money in your account, only call if it’s an emergency.”
Edit 7/14/24: I left the DSMP fandom a long time ago, but apparently many of the people involved in the DSMP have been outed as abusers. Absolutely fuck them. Abusers are unwelcome in any online space I cultivate.
