But something that the Elliotts didn't know, something that was more important than anything else, was that there was an extremely specific way you had to disassemble drones. And of course, the Elliotts had never followed it. Destroying drones by smashing them, stabbing them, burning them… that kind of treatment made the drones subject to something terrible.
A virus.
Hidden beneath layers and layers of these long-gone disembodied drones, corpses kept away from the eyes of society, was a little drone. Alone, it had no purpose - it had been destroyed by the Elliotts years ago.
But nobody would have expected that this little drone would change the world.
(The story of how what starts off as a small, irrelevant virus slowly grows to become humanities worst nightmare.

Elder faerie winced internally as the words left him. It was foolish, he knew it was, and he was a fool-king for ever hoping. “One day, for you to stay here, just one sunrise more, if anything at all. Any more time to have you here in the Faerie Kingdom… with me.”
“So that you can convince me not to go?” White Lily asked pointedly, her soft voice as beautiful and melodic as it had always been. Elder Faerie nodded. Her eyes widened in surprise when he stepped forward, and he gently took her hands in his with the same care one would the most precious thing in the world. He crouched down, his knees touching the forest floor, and he looked pleadingly up at her. A display of utter vulnerability, a king leaving himself at the mercy of who he loved so dearly. Their eyes met, dark magenta against light blue. “Yes,” he said breathlessly, holding onto every moment between them.
White Lily let out a sigh. “Okay. I’ll stay.”
“One day.”

It's been years since the infamous Dark Enchantress was defeated and the Beasts were all redeemed.
It hasn't been long since Pure Vanilla and Shadow Milk started dating, but despite their relationship, they haven't spent as much time together as Pure Vanilla would like.
Worried he isn't being a good partner, Pure Vanilla decides to invite Shadow Milk on a date. However, he faces one problem: Despite his unconditional love for his other half, he still hasn't fully adapted to modern culture. Hijinks ensue.
AKA Shadow Milk spends like two hours forcing Pure Vanilla into random outfits, and then they go to the movies together.
