Summary
It has been little over a Turn since Menolly's first sevenday at the Harper Craft Hall. She is one member of the Hall's esteemed Occasional Quartet, along with Sebell, Talmor, and Composition Master Domick. Their quartet has been specially requested to play over dinner as part of the festivities at Benden for Queenrider Lessa's birthday. Alas, the invitations sent wide to all Holders under Benden's wing have included those at Half-Circle Sea Hold, who have turned up for the occasion too.
This story is about the Occasional Quartet: their evening at Benden Hold, but also a look into the parts they played in that first propitious sevenday in Menolly's company, upon her arrival at the Harper Hall. It is about Domick, about music, about what it takes to really fly. It is about Sebell and Talmor and their friendship, and it is also, most importantly, about a game called Wherry-egg-wherry, which just proves what a girl can do when you put a gitar in her hands.

Vimes and Sybil have dinner together a few months after the events of Guards! Guards!
A little fic written for the dialogue prompt, "you don't have to be alone anymore'.
Some very mild angst based around Vimes' internal state, but otherwise pretty fluffy.

Summary
Kukla didn’t remember ever being alone in the base before. It was aware that there were many things that it did not remember. Remembering was not an important part of its functions, so the people who had made kukla sometimes did something to it that removed its memories. So maybe it had been on its own before and it didn’t know that.
It waited in its tube for a long time, where it was often placed out of the way even when it wasn’t in cold storage. When it seemed like no one was coming back and it got lonely, it placed itself in soldat’s tube instead for a while. But if there were no people here anymore, then soldat was probably not going to come back here. Soldat went where his handlers went, and his handlers had all left kukla alone here.
This is mostly about D/s and trauma, with complex power dynamics.

Summary
For centuries, The Faith has ruled much of the galaxy through ritualized violence, forced conversion, and holy bloodlines maintained through natural birth. As artificial wombs replaced pregnancy across species, the Faith declared synthetic birth sinful—rendering humanity indispensable.
Nerezza “Nessa” Keseor, a human woman from a dying mining station, volunteers to become a Bride to spare another girl the fate. She is assigned to Father Azar Hadan, a decorated but disillusioned priest nearing elevation to High Priesthood. His final task is to instruct her in the Seven Scriptures and prepare her for purification on Kel Vor.
As they travel, Nessa’s curiosity fractures Azar’s certainty. When hypocrisy within the Faith is revealed—private indulgence masked by public cruelty—Azar’s belief collapses entirely. After a public punishment meant to break him, he helps Nessa escape.
They flee into rebel-controlled space, where Azar must confront the cost of his past conquests and prove he is no longer the Faith’s weapon. Their bond deepens through shared survival, resistance trials, and the slow unlearning of fear—until love itself becomes the final act of defiance.
