Summary
Lucifer didn't have a silver tongue before The Fall. If he had, things might have gone differently at the trial. That was one of the final parting gifts bestowed upon him by his siblings before they cast him out. There's a sort of twisted irony to it all. The snake, who gave up everything so human souls could choose their own destiny, always one over enunciated word from stripping it from them all over again.
All that to say, as a general rule, Lucifer doesn't influence Sinners. Not because he can't—far from it—but it goes against the spirit of the whole "Gift of Free Will" thing.
Of course, Alastor is the one to challenge that.

No matter what though, Lucifer still misses his family, he thinks about them, dreams about them, watches them on social media, did he really make the right choice when it cost everything? He truly is a selfish person.

But your anger, there was so much blood lust I could get drunk on it.” Once again Alastor is entranced by the red in Lucifer’s eyes, “I guess you could say I just had to meet the human who managed to impress The Devil.”
Alastor has never met anyone with red eyes, they look like blood. He wonders how they would taste, what kind of elation he would feel from ripping them out of their sockets and sucking them dry.
“Well, I won’t disappoint.”
Or, Alastor manages to summon Lucifer before he meets Rosie. This changes everything but also not that much.

Lucifer would be lying if he said he hadn’t imagined claiming the unfairly pretty deer sinner as his own, and shutting him up in the process. He just needed a little push, and no one liked to push him quite like Alastor.

Summary
Lucifer sits upon his gilded throne in an empty palace.
The click of Alastor’s heels on spotless floors rings loudly amid silence.
A frankly ridiculous amount of gold climbs the plush filigree of his throne, woven into the fabric and winding around the Devil’s form in tangled arcs. To some, the sight might be another imitable display of his beauty, his divinity, and his power.
To Alastor, with what he now knows about the King’s limitations, the gold bears an awful resemblance to thinly gilt chains, the threaded web of which ensnares Lucifer to immobility. He thinks he might now understand as to why Lucifer spent so many years away from the eyes of Sinners.
Just imagine—the King of Hell, in hiding.
Or: a take on Executioner Theory wherein the repercussions are much like becoming empathy-bonded soulmates.

Today, no one has ever heard of a 'soul bond', and Lucifer is totally fine with that. Too old to even be a myth, the very concept is relegated to the dusty shelves at the back of the oldest Seraphims' minds.
Until Charlie comes along and asks Lucifer to heal Alastor, that is.

Summary

Bound by an unholy contract, Alastor observes from the periphery of Lucifer's "peaceful" existence as a single father managing an old toy store, fighting to survive under the weight of his depression and fatigue. However, what starts as a straightforward observation quickly turns into fascination. The demon, who used to eat souls for entertainment, is drawn to human frailty because of Lucifer's angelic looks, his soft voice, and his unwavering hope despite pain.
Protection becomes possession and love becomes peril. When Lucifer begins to notice the strange warmth hidden behind Alastor's smile, the human learns to his horror that love can be more damning than any curse.

Vox grits his teeth with a growl and directs his glare back to Lucifer. “Listen here you royal piece of shit.” He starts as his claws harshly poke at the glass separating them with every word. “I own you now. You have no power in this situation. You understand?”
Lucifer is yet again confused about what exactly Vox wants from all this as he sighs. “Yeah you mentioned that but the thing is..I really don’t care.”
The man in front of him is a perfect mixture of baffled and furious at his blasé attitude. “Well you should!”
“Mmmm, says who?” Lucifer asks with a confused tilt of his head.
“Wha- says me!” Vox shouts, grip on his composure slipping. “You should care because I said so!”
“My, quite the compelling argument.” Alastor interjects snidely.
“Alastor, shut the fuck up.” Vox scowls at the radio demon.
OR:
Lucifer ragebaits too close to the sun and causes Vox to put him on the guest list for his Heaven take over party to prove to him he's not a failure.
